MAY 2024 NEWSLETTER
Dear Friends
With voting safely out the way, it's time to look forward to some interesting developments, celebrations and commemorations in June. But before we move on, I'd like to spend a bit of time reminiscing about Mother's Day. May is the month when mothers and mother-figures hold a unique place in our hearts. A beautiful bouquet from the florist or a fragrant bunch of flowers from the garden is always a perfect way to honour, spoil, or remember our Moms. Flowers are often seen as symbols of love and appreciation, so it’s not surprising that Mother’s Day is the second most popular occasion for giving flowers, with roses and carnations being the flowers of choice.

Ma's Bouquet
When I think of my late Mom, I always picture her in the garden, with her floppy hat and muddy shoes, hands buried in the rich soil! I’ve included some of my Mom’s favourite flowers in “Ma’s Bouquet”
